Framilies are any combination of youth and adults who want to radically support each other.
Jillian Domingue is the CEO and visionary behind Lucero, bringing a unique blend of personal and professional experience to her work. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas and has over a decade of experience creating programs and products that improve the lives of individuals and families.
Jillian’s experiences as a foster mom to tweens and teens and as an adoptive mom to two young children inspire her mission to build a tool that helps Framilies connect, grow, and thrive together. Her passion for radically supportive spaces is at the heart of Lucero’s design.
Meagan Butler is a practicing Child and Adolescent Therapist with over 17 years of experience in education and mental health. She specializes in trauma-informed practices and applied neuroscience. Meagan is a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention Practitioner, a Neurosequential Model in Education Trainer, and has completed Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents training.
Meagan holds a BA from Pepperdine University and an MEd from UT Austin. She is currently completing doctoral studies at Texas State University. In her previous role as Austin ISD’s Counseling Coordinator, Meagan led training and program design for hundreds of Professional School Counselors and was named Austin ISD’s District-wide Counselor of the Year.
As a dedicated community mental health volunteer, Meagan also contributes to state-wide crisis response efforts. She practices Mindfulness every day to stay grounded and present for the youth and families she supports.
